C.H. Moore Homestead, DeWitt County Museum

The covered bridge was taken down by a storm in November 2011.
During the winter local contractors and board members restored the bridge.
Most of the bridge was saved. The roof and one side and 1/4 of the west side.
A new floor was needed and a steel frame was constructed to give the bridge a solid base.
The bridge has a been a landmark for over 40 years and will continue to welcome guests to the Homestead.
